Artist's Comments
Characters from my manga "The Way to Your Heart." I imagine that they're at a summer festival at night and the whole time Miyabi has been wrestling with his emotions (as usual). As he's about to confrtont Yumi (possibly to apologize...? hehe) he suddenly spots her with Toshio and his entire confidence is shattered. That's the emotional basis for this illustration, and I hope I was somewhat able to portray it here. This is the best CG I've done to date, and I absolutely love the coloring. *__* Of course, now I see some flaws in the drawing itself, but overall I'm very pleased with how this turned out!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. back to topic: dunno anything about your manga but seems pretty interesting... the guy looks shocked... well, guess I would feel the same... compared to the boys her eyes are huge... but it's cool... I like it... I think you brought the emotions pretty well into the pic... the only thing I need to criticise: it took me a while to figure out that the black parts at the sky should be trees (or am I wrong?)... but yeah that's not the centre of the pic I know and may be I was too focused on the three characters...
